What Is Your Ultimate Escape?

Miyanohama (Ogasawara Islands)We all have somewhere we want to see, some place we want to visit.  I am sure it was inspirational in creating the book, “1000 Places To See Before You Die.”  That is a book that one can read for months…

Have you ever sat down to think about it?

If not try it. Have some fun here, it’s all about YOU. (OK, maybe your spouse or significant other, too)

Sit down, uninterrupted, quietly and just imagine, if money were no object, where would you go? What would you do? With whom? What type of trip would it be?

Categorize them as Getaways, Annual Escapes and Ultimate Escapes.

Write down your thoughts, destinations and places of interest. Let they ideas flow. It costs nothing to do this, but it sure can be fun to imagine. Now talk about it with your partner. Be sure to imagine yourself experiencing it. (Look at what it did for Disney)  This can take 30 minutes to 30 days to complete.

These are your escapes. You own them. Think about them often. Make it fun.

I hope you make a plan to experience your escapes.

An elderly man once shared with me as a teen, “it’s your life, live it.”
